So this post is kinda related to the above statement.
There's a surau in place where i studied called surau Taa'dib. I don't know how old is the surau but from my observation it looks like it has been there for a decade and it still looks nice. the problem is that the surau is small and the ventilation (in my opinion) is not so good plus the ceiling is low. But then it still nice to be in there.
Another problem that i don't like is the surrounding of the building. There's an open car park area in front of it which looks very ugly thus it affect my feeling towards the building. So because of that, i just created new design for the surau just for my viewing pleasure!
The building that i had designed is bigger and better! So instead of calling it surau, i called it mosque because it has the size of a mosque. Ladies and gentleman, i present you, my visionary project called (the new and improvised version of) Masjid Taa'dib (Taa'dib Mosque) ---------> [scroll down please]

INTERIOR
the interior is divided into two parts -
open air hall - no wall, glass or anything to let wind go through it, so extra ventilation and natural cooling
system
main prayer hall - 2 storey + air conditioned
- carpet and the colour scheme of the wall and carpet are warm so that you'll feel cozy
