Kelly Clarkson & Jason Aldean performed "Don't You Wanna Stay" (Grammy 2012)

so, i'm not lame to be exact. i am updated but i just couldn't get the right mood to update my blog. so sometimes, i'd posted things that can be considered old. actually i'm very aware of everything.

why am i giving statement like that ^^^^

just wanna share the video performance of Kelly Clarkson & Jason Alden performed their #1 country song "Don't You Wanna Stay" at recent Grammy 2012. To make the statement above relevant, they have perform this weeks ago and i know it. just wanna find a right time to post this.

back to the video, this is Kelly's second performance at the Grammy after "Because Of You" (2006) and the first for Jason. They're nominated for Best Country Collaboration With Vocals. Unfortunately, they lose to someone i don't know and i've never heard of.

Honestly, this is not their best performance together as Kelly was sick and of course the audio problem! Their voices were drowned by the music and just before they finished the song, suddenly Jason's mic was not functioning (What!O_O).

And because we have one of the greatest singer in the world on stage accompany him, they managed to finished the song flawlessly. Kelly really should take the credit for ending the song with her beautiful voice only.

Actually, i really don't mind they switch off Jason's mic because the ending was better compared to their other performance. And for Kelly's attire that night... i give 5/5 stars as she looked very beautiful and flawless in her own way.

That's it for now, peace out y'all

P/S : Just realized that Kelly might snatch another week at #1 next week on Billboard Hot 100 with Stronger (What Doesn't Kill You). O' hail the Queen!

Jalan Tun Razak, Then & Now

i found a video of Jalan Tun Razak in 1986 when i was surfing the net. here's the video...

when i watch the video, obviously i can see a lot of changes since 1986. In 1986, there's really few high building such as PNB building, Tabung Haji Tower and Bernama Building.

Compared it to now, there are a lot of changes and A LOT of skyscrapers being built; Vista Tower (formerly Empire Tower), Dua Residensy etc. At that time also, there's no tunnel (actually, it's not really a tunnel) crossing the junction of Jalan Tun Razak/ Jalan Ampang but now there's a big tunnel under it!

PNB building also looked really new as i watch the roof of the podium was really shiny compare to now, the roof is really dirty and they need to be change desperately.

in the video you can see no Vista Tower (formerly Empire Tower), no Doubletree Hotel (formerly Crown Princess Hotel) and there's only City Square alone without 2 big buildings on it. and now, even the City Square has been demolished and replaced with the brand new modern looking Intermark Mall. there's also a tower called Intermark Tower (40 floors) that is still under construction on top of the new mall.

There used to be a lot of trees along Jalan Tun Razak which i never see see now. but now, it is really hard to see any trees in those amount anymore. maybe because of the maintenance cost, DBKL decided to chopped the trees down. i wish we still have all those trees now =(

Some pics i took in 2009...
